The app

Lampstead Lock asks you to pray or read a verse before a locked app opens. The free tier includes one locked app group, the verse of the day, and no ads. Everything the app stores stays on the device. There is no account in v1. The bundle ID is com.montgomeryappworks.lampsteadlock.

Lampstead Lock Pro

Lampstead Lock Pro is $39.99 a year or $6.99 a month. Both plans auto-renew. Prices may vary by region and taxes. Eligible new users get a 7-day free trial, with a reminder before the trial converts to a paid plan. Purchases go through Apple or Google via RevenueCat.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime in your Apple or Google subscription settings. Apple’s and Google’s refund policies apply. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

iPhone and Android

On iPhone, locking uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity) on the device. On Android, locking uses Usage Access (UsageStats) and an AccessibilityService, only to detect when a locked app opens and to show the prayer screen. The app shows a prominent disclosure before it asks for those Android permissions. The privacy policy describes what stays on the device.

A future Lampstead account

A future option may let you sign in with an existing Lampstead account to share a Lampstead Collection subscription. That would be disclosed in these terms when it is added.

Children

Lampstead Lock is not directed at children under 13. It is for teens 13 and older, and for adults.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the data stored on the device. There is no Lampstead Lock backend.

Changes

If these terms change, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
