Support · Ebenwell

If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or contact your local emergency services (911 in the US). Ebenwell is a spiritual support tool from Montgomery Appworks LLC. It is not medical or mental-health care. It does not treat, cure, or diagnose any condition.

Email support@montgomeryappworks.com about Ebenwell.

Do I need an account?

No. Ebenwell does not ask you to create a company account, and it does not ask for an email to restore a purchase.

Where is my data kept?

On your device. Your streak, check-ins, urge log, journal, accountability contacts, reading log, and reflections stay in local storage unless you export them or choose to share a short check-in through the system share sheet. The journal, urge log, partners, quiz, and reflections are encrypted. The company does not operate a backup server for your journal. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I export or delete my data?

Open Settings. Export saves a JSON file. To erase everything on this device, type DELETE and tap “Delete all my data.” Erasing does not cancel a store subscription. Keep an export first if you want a copy. Step-by-step instructions are on the delete your data page.

What does Ebenwell Plus cost?

$9.99 a month or $39.99 a year, after a 7-day free trial, charged by Apple or Google. If a trial is active and you leave the reminder on, the app reminds you 48 hours before the first charge. SOS, crisis help, the basic streak, the journal, today's verse, the urge log, export, delete, and the app lock stay free.

How do I cancel?

Cancel in your Apple or Google subscription settings. In the app, Settings has “How to cancel.” Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Canceling does not delete your streak or journal. Apple and Google handle refunds.

How do I restore a purchase?

Use the same Apple or Google account, open Settings, and tap Restore purchases. It reads the store receipt for this app only. If Plus still does not appear, email support@montgomeryappworks.com.

Where can I get crisis help?

In the US, call or text 988 (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). For an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. SOS and crisis help in the app are always free. Ebenwell is not medical or mental-health care.
