This policy covers Shedwell (formerly Digital Cleanup) for iPhone and Android, published by Montgomery Appworks LLC in Oklahoma. Its subtitle is Digital Cleanup, and the App Store name is Shedwell: Digital Cleanup. The bundle id is com.montgomeryappworks.digitalcleanup.
What this app does not do
Shedwell has no account. It has no backend, no analytics, no ads, no crash reporting, and no remote push notifications. Notifications are local only.
What stays on your device
The photo library is processed only on the device and is never uploaded. On iOS, scanning may cause iCloud to download small PhotoKit thumbnails from Apple. Nothing from that download goes to us. On Android, storage and usage stats are processed only on the device and are never uploaded. The subscriptions list you enter stays on the device.
The app keeps a local on-device cache for the health score and lists. The email string is stripped before caching.
Breach check
When you run an email breach check, that email address is sent to haveibeenpwned.com. We keep no server copy. A password breach check sends only the first 5 characters of the password’s SHA-1 hash to api.pwnedpasswords.com (k-anonymity). The password is never stored or sent.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous app user ID and the purchase receipt. No IDFA or other device identifiers are collected.

In-app links open Optery, Incogni, California DROP (the state’s data broker deletion request platform), Have I Been Pwned, and checklist help pages. No app data is sent with those links. Optery and Incogni links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission.
Children
Shedwell is not directed at children under 13.
Deleting your data
The data the app keeps is on your device. Deleting the app removes it. We don’t store the breach check. Purchase records are held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Questions: contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it.
