How to delete in the app

1. Open Quellfern.
2. Open Settings.
3. Choose Delete account and data.

Personal block and allow lists, prefix rules, settings, recent checks, and the blocked-call log stay on the device. The Android log is kept for 30 days and then dropped. In the app, Delete account and data clears those lists, the family list and family ids stored on this phone, the safe word, the log, recent checks, settings, and the on-device analytics log. It does not turn off system call blocking, and it does not cancel Pro or Protect Mom & Dad.

Family

If this phone created the family, Delete account and data asks the family service to delete that family with DELETE /v1/family/:id. The owner is the only phone that can do this. It removes every member, the shared block list, the invite code, and the feed. If this phone joined as a parent, Delete account and data asks the family service to remove this phone with POST /v1/family/:id/leave. That removes this phone’s member id and the feed entries that phone created. The other members and the shared block list stay. The request sends the member id. If the phone has a RevenueCat app user id, the request body includes that id too. The family service does not use the app user id to allow a delete or a leave, and it does not store it. If the family service does not confirm the request, the app does not clear this phone until you try again or choose to delete the data on this phone anyway.

The member id, the membership secret, the shared numbers, and the invite stay until that delete or leave succeeds, or until the family database is removed. There is no automatic expiry for a family that nobody deletes. The hash of an IP address used to limit create and join requests stays until that database is removed. Sampled Cloudflare Workers Logs are kept for 3 days on the Workers Free plan.

Subscription record

Quellfern does not create a login. The analytics log records product events such as onboarding and purchases. It does not include phone numbers, and it is not uploaded. After you delete account data in the app, email support@montgomeryappworks.com to delete the RevenueCat subscriber record tied to your anonymous app user id. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat keep purchase records under their own policies.

You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase. Uninstalling the app deletes the on-device data. Uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription. It does not turn off system call blocking, and it does not cancel Pro or Protect Mom & Dad.
