Restoring a purchase

Purchases are handled by Apple and Google through RevenueCat. Use the same Apple ID or the same Google account you bought with. If the purchase still does not show, email support@montgomeryappworks.com and say which store you used.

Cancelling a subscription

Digital Cleanup offers a yearly subscription at $29.99 with a 14-day free trial, a monthly subscription at $4.99, and a lifetime purchase at $59.99.

Cancel a subscription in your App Store subscription settings, or in your Google Play subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends so the next period is not charged. If you buy during a free trial, any unused part of that trial is forfeited where that applies.

The breach check, and your privacy

When you run an email breach check, that email address is sent to haveibeenpwned.com. We keep no server copy. A password breach check sends only the first 5 characters of the password’s SHA-1 hash to api.pwnedpasswords.com. The password is never stored or sent.

The photo library is processed only on the device and is never uploaded. On iOS, scanning may cause iCloud to download small PhotoKit thumbnails from Apple. Nothing from that download goes to us. On Android, storage and usage stats are processed only on the device and are never uploaded. The subscriptions list you enter stays on the device. The app keeps a local cache for the health score and lists, and the email string is stripped before caching.

The app has no account, no backend, no analytics, no ads, no crash reporting, and no remote push notifications. Notifications are local only. In-app links open Optery, Incogni, California DROP, Have I Been Pwned, and checklist help pages. No app data is sent with those links. Optery and Incogni links are affiliate links.
