A digital SDS binder for salons and small shops

Safety data sheets for every chemical, in one place. Share the binder with a QR code posted in the shop, and keep a record when a staff member has read a sheet.

Who it’s for

Salons and small shops that keep chemicals on site and need the safety data sheet for each one where people working there can open it, without a binder that walks off the counter.

What it does

What it doesn’t do

A date from OSHA, and what it is not

OSHA updated the Hazard Communication Standard in 2024. On January 15, 2026, OSHA extended those compliance dates by four months. For substances, employers update workplace labeling, the hazard communication program, and training, as necessary, no later than November 20, 2026. For mixtures, that employer date is May 19, 2028. Many products in a salon are mixtures. This page does not decide which date applies to a shop. Keeping sheets here does not mean the shop complies with OSHA. The dates are OSHA’s, from the Hazard Communication overview and the January 15, 2026 extension notice.

Planned pricing

Planned pricing is $15–29/mo. That range is a plan, not a price you can buy today.

Questions

Who is a digital SDS binder for?

Salons and small shops that keep chemicals on site and need the safety data sheet for each one where staff can open it.

What does the QR code do?

You post one QR code in the shop. Someone who scans it opens the binder of safety data sheets for that shop.

What is a staff read acknowledgment?

A record that a staff member opened a safety data sheet. It is a read receipt, not a training certificate and not proof that the shop meets every Hazard Communication rule.

Does a digital SDS binder guarantee OSHA compliance?

No. It keeps safety data sheets in one place, shares them with a QR code, and records that a staff member opened a sheet. It does not guarantee OSHA compliance.

What is the November 20, 2026 OSHA date?

OSHA updated the Hazard Communication Standard in 2024 and, on January 15, 2026, extended the compliance dates by four months. For substances, employers update workplace labeling, the hazard communication program, and training, as necessary, no later than November 20, 2026. For mixtures, that employer date is May 19, 2028. Many salon products are mixtures. This page does not decide which date applies to a shop.

When does the digital SDS binder launch?

There is no launch date. The waitlist email is used only to say when it is ready.

What will a digital SDS binder cost?

Planned pricing is $15 to $29 a month. That is a plan, not a price you can buy today.
